Hi all,
Sorry to pop in again with more questions.
I'm trying to figure out a way to create a new Patient in the system while also informing an existing diagnosis for the Patient.
A simple use case would be if I'm trying to input a new Patient who has (for example) Type 2 DM.
The "usual" way of doing this (as far as I know) is to first create the Patient resource and then navigate to the Condition resource page, create a new Condition with a Problem-List category, and then associating this with the previously created Patient.
I'm thinking if there's a way of making it easier. My current idea is to redirect the user from the Patient creation form directly to the Condition creation form, passing the ID of the new Patient as a parameter to be auto-populated. If there are no Conditions to be included, the user can exit out of this page. Otherwise they can insert all the necessary Conditions right away.
Does anyone know of a better (or preferred) way of doing this? I'd appreciate any suggestions.
Also: for the "code" field (which is a CodeableConcept) in the Condition resource I was trying to figure out where the default values of the dropdown list are coming from so I can mess around with those, but I couldn't find it. Can you guys point me to the right direction for this?
Thank you!
