Search by email via UI

Hi folks - am pretty new to Medplum, so this might be a silly question. I have a bunch of patients defined that have a telecom entry for email. Is there a way I can search via the UI by email address? I understand I can add the
?email=foo@bar.com
suffix to the URL itself but this won't auto-encode special characters so the search won't work (ie. if searching for
foo+bar@baz.com
). TIA and thank you for the excellent project.

Hi @dselans Yes, if you click on "Fields":
you can add "email":
then you should have an "Email" column:
and then click on "Email" for filtering options:

Hi @cody , is there any way to be able to add custom search options so that I could use the search bar in the UI ? The fields-workaround is ok - it's just a lot of extra clicks. Would like to just be able to do "email=foo@bar.com" in the search bar (or just "foo@bar.com" and that would match a pattern).

hey @dselans - i think that's a great idea. I filed an issue on github. I will discuss with the team. https://github.com/medplum/medplum/issues/5824
