Best way to theme medplum's react components?

I've looked extensively under the hood of the components and it appears that they are mostly restricted to the props defined, unless I reconstruct components myself using mantine components. Is there a simpler way to create a custom theme for my app or is it still mostly experimental at this point?
For context, I would like to change the background color of the AppShell's NavBar; however, doing so would also conflict with the built-in color for hovering over a NavLink.

Hi @brandon , I see the issue. You're right to point out that our React theming abilities are in their early days, and we would appreciate your input. We're currently in the process of upgrading to Mantine 7, which does a complete overhaul on how it performs styling - moving to CSS modules rather than CSS-in-JS. This is the PR for the change (https://github.com/medplum/medplum/pull/3324/files#diff-37f8be9d334071886fb0899e504ec7ac5ad62098757c835e54a02709e38289d8). It would really help us if you could comment here on the changes you'd like to see in the how the Navbar component is styled
