Resource Type for Internal Work

01/12/2026, 5:08 PMHi everyone, wondering if you guys had any advice for which ResourceType to use for logging internal work for practitioners on the platform. Since this is for internal work(training, shadowing, meetings) we do not want to use the Encounters resource type.
What will be the best approach here? Thank you!

would this be a good way to represent internal work using task? I will have the main code element identify as overarching internal work, then add an extension with another code which specifies what kind of internal work it is.
or another way is to use groupidentifier to represent overarching internal-work, then use code for specific kind of work

This makes more sense to me but again I'm not much of an expert here. This method gives you the ability to search for all internal work with the
