Invalid recaptchaSiteKey (how to disable recaptcha...

Hi there, I'm trying to deploy the medplum Docker image with tag "latest" via kubernetes, but on registering a new user I get "Invalid recaptchaSiteKey" even though I don't have those values set in my configMap. My understanding was that if I don't provide those it shouldn't use recaptcha, or is there an extra env varibale for deactivating it? (couldn't find one) Any help appreciated!

Hi @ivybanter I'm no expert but is your front end passing a
recaptchaSiteKey
that is missing on your back end? The default front end
.env
comes with an example
RECAPTCHA_SITE_KEY
https://github.com/medplum/medplum/blob/3e00738a5264d1ea06ebd395194ae37f17c3e643/packages/app/.env.defaults Which must match the either the back end main (which also comes with the example but you do not have it set) or project keys https://github.com/medplum/medplum/blob/3e00738a5264d1ea06ebd395194ae37f17c3e643/packages/server/src/auth/utils.ts#L244

Yes, I agree with @simonj 's assessment. We do not recommend disabling recaptcha as it is important for security.

I haven't added it anywhere and just wanted to spin it up for a test run. But I'll just create my own keys and try again with those. Thanks for your replies!
