AWS Self Hosted - Error: Bots not enabled
# support
k
I am running
medplum
self hosted in AWS using
5.0.2
. I am trying to create a new bot using:
medplum bot create
However, every time I get
Error: Bots not enabled
This is using a new project that I have created via the admin UI and have enabled
bots
as a
feature
for the project. I have the env vars set correctly for
MEDPLUM_CLIENT_ID
,
MEDPLUM_CLIENT_SECRET
,
MEDPLUM_BASE_URL
. I have tried to search other support messages on here, but can't see what else I need to enable to get this working? Can you please assist? Full command output:

Success! New bot version: 7b703091-f5d4-43f7-9947-6f07267d30b9

Error: Bots not enabled
Apologies, I have now worked this out. I had
bots
enabled for the
project_id
I was passing into the
bot create
command. However, I did not have
bots
enabled on my
Super Admin
project. It is now enabled on both projects and now works.
