Import to Medplum from Epic

Attempting to migrate patient data from Epic into medplum , i am getting this error and can't seem to find a way around it.
{"response":{"outcome":{"resourceType":"OperationOutcome","issue":[{"severity":"error","code":"invalid","details":{"text":"Invalid id"}}]},"status":"400"}}

Need more info on what/how you're trying to do this but sounds like you have an issue with the record ID - if you're creating new patients in medplum via POST then you should not be including a patient.id and instead let medplum issue that and put your Epic ID in the
identifier
array

Hi @simonj, here is the data im testing with. Is the best approach to remove the id and let medplum assign it? im creating a resource from each line and a bundle for the resources. Wll the referential integrity be maintained if the id is removed? https://gist.github.com/AnalogJ/1fe4b4da2878dc021f6f4fe6538ee37f

@jericlandry gotcha - so what you want to do is move the epic
.id
into the
.identifier[]
property, remove
.id
and then medplum will assign a new id on create. You can use "Conditional References" to ensure that as it's imported, medplum does a lookup on the epic id to reference the newly issued medplum id. They have some nice documentation on it complete with examples here: https://www.medplum.com/docs/migration/convert-to-fhir
