Hello, Is there a way to set custom sender Mails per project on a self hosted non AWS Environment? I know there is the environment variables that I can set, but this is then for every project on that instance. We would like to change the Sender Mail based on the project. Is this possible?

Hi @denniscod - are you referring to emails sent upon user-invite and other system generated messages, or emails sent as a result of other busines logic?
d
Yes I mean the system generated E-Mails

Hi @denniscod , I'm so sorry for the delayed reply - this one must have fallen off our queue. To send custom invite / password reset emails, would this guide work for you? https://www.medplum.com/docs/auth/custom-emails For sending emails from a non-AWS environment, you can check out our guide on setting up SMTP relay via sendgrid: https://www.medplum.com/docs/self-hosting/sendgrid

Hi @rahul1 sorry for not answering for that long, we had our priorities changed for some time. We configure the SMTP and everything on our self hosted Medplum instance. The problem is, that we would like to use different SMTP config on project level, so that every project could configure their own SMTP config with own Support mail. Is this possible somehow?

HI @denniscod , I think the way to do this would be to disable the normal email invite flow, and use a bot to listen for new account signups send a custom email . You could use Project Secrets (https://www.medplum.com/docs/bots/bot-secrets) to store the SMTP details for each project
