Feature Request - Custom URL for Change Password
# support

Hey everyone, We've encountered an issue with the password reset feature in Medplum. Currently, when users request a password reset on our application FooMedical (hosted on https://my.lumba.health), the set password link in the email redirects them to https://app.neelyx.bio/setpassword/. To provide a seamless user experience, we'd like to request the addition of a custom URL for the change password functionality. This would allow the set password link to direct users to https://my.lumba.health/setpassword, ensuring they stay on our site throughout the process. Implementing this feature would greatly improve user experience and maintain consistency with our branding. We appreciate your consideration and welcome any feedback on this request. Thank you! Best regards, Nikul Khatik

Quick question - are you sending custom emails for account creation and password reset? https://www.medplum.com/docs/auth/custom-welcome-emails The proposed method to do this is to direct users to your flow via the custom emails and supress the Medplum emails for account creation and password reset

I am sending emails for password reset (forgot password) on Foo-Medical
The guide you sent is designed explicitly for newly registered users, as it outlines the process for account creation. However, I intend to assist existing users who need to reset their passwords. Could you please provide me with a guide or instructions specifically addressing the password reset process for existing users? Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

We will work on documentation for this!

Haven't forgotten about this, and have filed it here: https://github.com/medplum/medplum/issues/2112 One thing I will note, if using an external auth provider this will be irrelevant. Are you using one or plan to?

Thanks, I am not using external auth
I have Medplum hosted on app.example.com an FooMedical on my.domain1.com
