As a laboratory, we are in the process of implementing a task system into our workflow, which primarily involves two portals: the Patient Portal and the Provider (Practitioner) Portal. Here's a concise overview of our workflow: Patients initiate the process by placing a test order through Shopify. They are then directed to the Patient Portal for kit registration. At this stage, the patient completes a questionnaire, and once this is done, the order is created (Service Request). The questionnaire is then routed for physician approval. After receiving the physician's approval, the request proceeds to the Fulfillment Agent for order completion. The order fulfillment process comprises three key stages: a) Shipment is In Transit b) Shipment Delivered at Location c) Shipment Received at the Lab After successful order fulfillment, the order is sent to the Lab for the generation of a Diagnostic Report. Subsequently, the generated report is forwarded to the physician for their approval. Once approved by the physician, the report is shared with the patient. We are currently seeking guidance on how to establish a Task workflow to effectively manage this scenario using the FHIR workflow standard.

Hi @ravindratc , I would point you to our guide on Task based workflows as a starting point: https://www.medplum.com/docs/careplans/tasks
In particular, the "Examples" section at the bottom
These tasks can be used to represent approval workflows, lab operations, etc
Some other resources I'll point you to:
For lab, the main resource represening the "Order" will be the "ServiceRequest"
FHIR does have some support for modeling shipping logistics, (https://www.medplum.com/docs/api/fhir/resources/supplydelivery?section=schema), but I would say the support is still nascent
for advanced status tracking, you might need to use extensions
