Hello. I have implemented a Password Change Request Bot and a corresponding FHIR Subscription for my project as described here: https://www.medplum.com/docs/auth/custom-emails#password-change-request-bot However, the Subscription only triggers the Bot on PasswordChangeRequests of Patients, when they are invited to the project or when they are trying to reset their passwords. The invite/reset PasswordChangeRequests of Practitioners are ignored by the Subscription and the Bot is never triggered. How do I make the Subscription work with Practitioners? - Slawa

I have the same issue. Can someone help?

HI @slawa_p and @theurbanerrorist , because Practitioner users are scoped to the server, they will not trigger subscriptions, that live inside the project: https://www.medplum.com/docs/auth/user-management-guide
If you are self-hosting medplum, you can create a Subscription at the SuperAdmin level to handle this. However, it will not be possible on our hosted platform

Hi @rahul1 , I’m encountering the same issue as @theurbanerrorist , but in my case, I've added both a subscription and a bot to a project where I have super admin permissions. A few days ago, we updated our self-hosted Medplum system to version 3.1.0, and I’ve started using UserSecurityRequest instead of PasswordChangeRequest. In a different project, where I don't have super admin access, I've successfully added a bot to send custom emails to patients, and that’s working fine. However, I'm struggling to get the subscription feature to work for practitioners—it doesn’t seem to trigger at all. Any insights on what might be going wrong? Thanks!
@rahul1 would you prefer that I create a new support post for this?

Hi @tinho_14 - yes if you're having trouble with
Subscriptions
to
Practitioners
, this might be a different issue. Do you mind starting a new post?
