Hello!

Do I need to update the access policy to authorize sending emails for users that are not using an admin account?

It actually appears that only admins can send emails through Medplum client (reference here: https://discord.com/channels/905144809105260605/1235244077025595462). Any plans of changing this sometime soon or should my team and I look for a workaround? Thank you!!

Hi <@1109161530836123748> , we actually just made to *introduce* this restriction, and we don't have plans to loosen it at this time. 

This was to prevent untrusted users from abusing the send-email functionality

If you'd like to do this, you could proxy the call through a Medplum Bot

I ended up using a Medplum Bot. Thank you for the guidance!
