Reset Password on Provider Portal

Hi @reshma and @rahul1, I hope this message finds you well. I have added a "Forgot Password" page to my provider portal, but I encountered an issue when I click the reset password button. The error seems to be related to Recaptcha. I have created a site entry in my project and added my domain and Recaptcha, but it still does not work. However, the login and other functionalities are working fine. Could you please help me understand what might be going wrong? Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi @Guoyi Z (Empallo) - what's going on is that you you need to set a Recaptcha key/secret in your server configuration as well (if you are self-hosting). See this example: https://github.com/medplum/medplum/blob/74a95c67bd7907ba547e785fcce0fff7e6b6f84a/packages/server/medplum.config.json#L19-L20
This is because password resets happen on a
User
, which is a server-level concept

Hi @rahul1 , Thank you! I only hosted the frontend, the backend is still hosted by Medplum so I am wondering if anywhere else went wrong? But thank you for sharing that. I set my own Recaptcha key/secret, domains, Google ID/Secret on the in the site entry. Is there anything I missed?
Hi @rahul1 , I am still did not fix this Recaptcha issue when I click forget password in my frontend provider portal, just want to clearify that I only hosted the frontend, and I set Recaptcha key/secret, domain in the project 'sites' filed. thanks ahead!

Yes, I can confirm that if you are just hosting the frontend, the recaptcha key/secret will be stored in the Project.sites

Thank you! @rahul1
