Hi all you brilliant people! Hope you're all well.
So... I've built this great progress note therapy scribe which was working perfectly on my localhost -- using Deepgram and Anthropic SDK -- and now I'm trying to get this to work on my AWS Self-hosted branch. So, basically, I'm trying to add the Deepgram SDK and Anthropic SDK to my AWS Self-hosted Medplum installation. (I think that's what I need to do.)
I've got some Medplum Bots that transcribe (via Deepgram) and process text (via Claude). I am assuming that I need to put this into my Bot Layer for use in Lambda functions? (Though not sure if that's the right approach -- or if there is a better way of doing things.)
Current Setup:
So... I have a couple of bots that uses both Deepgram and Anthropic SDKs
What I Need:
I would like to add @deepgram/sdk and @anthropic-ai/sdk to the bot layer -- or at least figure out a way to get my bots able to access these SDKs. I am able to do it on Localhost -- but haven't figured out how to do it on my AWS Self-hosted Setup.
Question:
Should I modify the bot layer's package.json and run deploy-bot-layer.sh, or is there a different recommended approach? I don't mind trying to edit deploy-bot-layer.sh if that is helpful. But I also don't want to break anything or do anything out of pocket.
Anyhow, thanks for all your thoughts! @reshma @rahul1 @cody
