what does this mean? All I could find on "ONC Criteria" was this: https://www.healthit.gov/topic/certification-ehrs/certification-criteria. Is this like HIPAA compliance for specific APIs?
r
The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) sets out a number of criteria for EHRs to be considered "Certified" in the eyes of the government: https://www.medplum.com/docs/compliance/onc
You can view all certified tools, and criteria against which they certify, on the CHPL: https://chpl.healthit.gov/#/resources/overview

God this ecosystem is tedious lol
and again. I don't really understand what this means from a practical standpoint. How does this change what you can do with the platform?
r
I changes in which scenarios you can use Medplum as an EHR. Certain ecosystem partners (e.g CMS) won't interact with you unless you are using an ONC certified EHR
z
do you have a list of the ecosystem partners that require ONC certification? It seems like building a medplum app with unsupported APIs could be a very ugly gotcha for a developer
