This is a good question, and you're right, referential integrity is not enforced by the server at this time. All of our current active customers manage references at the application layer (most use a "write once, never delete" model). This is something we definitely intend to support, and we have architectural plans for how to do it. I'd be happy to jump on a zoom call sometime if you'd like to discuss.
