Our product is still in a fairly early phase so it's not that much of a rush yet (a 1 month timeline for the docs would be awesome) We are currently evaluating some architecture decisions and possible integrations with 3rd party services. We would prefer using a managed identity service (like Firebase Auth or Auth0 etc) and integrating it with our other self built backend services as well as 3rd party components. Using Medplum itself as an identity service with Google Authentication would be possible at this stage but we would need to know if we could easily have the option to use a dedicated identity service that provides more sign in options, integration with other federated identity providers, MFA etc.

Understood! I added a task to our backlog to document this. We'd also love to schedule some time to discuss what you're working on, and how you're thinking about it, mostly as an opportunity for us to learn what problems you're trying to solve.
