hi there! I'm brand new to the space and trying to understand Medplum. I run a patient community for chronic disease patients. one use-case I'm interested in: implementing a "verified diagnosis" feature where our users can connect their existing EHR account from their hospital with us, and we can verify their diagnosis via FIHR. is this something Medplum can help with?

How do you know what EHR they are on?
z
ideally, they'd tell us. like a plaid-style login flow

So our friends at Flexpa are working on this from the health insurer perspective (not providers) that might be something to consider. Then once you get the data back you can store it in Medplum https://www.flexpa.com/
For providers, endpoint discovery and getting the right credentials can be a thing - but here are (for example) Epic endpoints https://open.epic.com/MyApps/Endpoints
Maybe start with one that you have credentials to and try it?

flexpa looks amazing -- diving in now. thank you reshma!

You can store your Flexpa data on Medplum! 🙂

@zainerino, depending on your use case and purpose of use, Metriport OpenSource Medical API could be a good alternative: https://www.metriport.com/ (disclaimer: I work at Metriport)
